Bush Iraqi Shoe Thrower Video; YouTube Bush Dodged Flying Shoes in the Arab World
What is the meaning of shoe throwing in the Arab world?
Shoe throwing is a sign of insult. The shoe throwing act that is the hottest news all over the world is a sign of insult that most Arabs understand. Whereas for us, the West, it is an assault against the Leader of the Free world.
The iraqi journalist who threw the shoes at Bush immediately became a hero. By doing so, he put Bush in the same category as late leader, Saddam Hussein whose statue was dragged in the street as a dog.
It is a sign of displeasure with what is going on in Iraq.
